   is there any other way to retrieve DTC'S since the diag. connector is not
on the left lower side of the dash theres no swinging door or flap i even
removed the lower hush panel and searched and searched either someone pushed
it way the #$#$%$  up there or its not a typical OBD2 connecter also will my
generic scan tool display and read codes thanks

The location I gave is for a '97 E320.

Since THAT didn't answer your question it would help if you stated the
YEAR of your E320.

Someone might then be able to tell you something intelligent.

oh sorry its a 1997 E320 4 door model blue in color smile its ok i love you
