Anyone know how the lockout switch is actuated (by what mechanism) and where
it is physically located? Mine is intermittent and adjusting the shift
linkage doesn't solve the problem. Help please.

It is located on the side of tranny where your shift linkage is... usually
on driver side... follow that rod to the tranny where the shifting linkage
is...

Right behind it... black thing is it.
