Are there any major changes between 2004 and 2006 I am thinking of buying a 2004 AMG and I love the lines of the SL500 2006 . Are there any major external differences between the 2 ? Thanks John There shouldn't be... mid year redesign is like 4 or 5 years apart. The major changes are, well, very tiny that it's really easy to overlook them. Because the local MB dealer has a 2006 in the show room and I am in love with it. I am on a auction for a 2004 and I would be disappointed if the looks are different after spending 75k Makes sense, doesn't ?
