The visor on the driver's side makes a very loud "crack" when closed from the half/full open position; otherwise no sound.  This seems to happen regardless of the angle, extension or inserted in the right end holder.  Any idea what might be causing this?  It doesn't appear that the rod can be easily accessed.

Thanks...

Probably the visor holder above your rearview mirror is cracked... Put your
hand there while closing to see if that is the culprit.

I just checked and the "click" is definitely there on the left side, even when the visor is extended fully to the right.  Any idea what a new/used one might cost?

See if you can tighten up the screws... take cover off... see if anything is
loose to tighen it...
