Same place you viewed the slimming pills and exercise mat -- late night
shopping channel. -- Super performance, stronger, longer brighter spark,
available in neon green or racing yellow! Full satisfaction or your
money back! Only $49.95 Call 1-800-782-5373 (1800-SUCKERD) now!
But seriously, Beru should be the most inexpensive. Any online place
should do:
Try www.buymbparts.com
Hmmm, 1994, eh? Not sure, but check the rest of the wiring harness as
well, if parts of it is crumbly or cracked, best get it changed before
you have other problems.
On further thought, they (the ignition wires) don't usually wear out
that fast, what symptoms do you have and what are you trying to solve?

Hello:) Thanks for the reply!! I bought this car a month ago and it
started running rough. It got so bad that I had to hold the gas pedal
down for it to start. When I put it in drive and touch the gas it would
stall unless I barely touched the gas to get it going. Once I got it
going lets say 45 or 50 or any speed and tried to press the pedal it
would skip (kind of bucking going down the road). When I pulled the
covers off to check the plugs I noticed someone took a Ford motocraft
and taped it to the bosch mercedes wire. Today I went to a mercedes
tech here in town and he sold me one of the ends that go into the
sparkplug socket and now the wire is back to original. When I pulled
the plugs they were all black(Im guessing from all the misfiring from
the wire??) and they were bosch platinum which I have heard is a no no
with this car. I have replaced the 4 plugs on the driver side and will
do the other 4 tomorrow. I started it up for about 10 seconds with the
4new resistor plugs and it started without holding the gas but when I
gave it gas in park it had a skipping or bucking acceleration of
idle(not smooth). Im hoping its because the other 4 plugs are causing
this... There is a new harness in the car and the previous owner
replaced the coil as well...any thoughts?? Thanks again!! :)Nel

The platinum plugs are not good... remove them all and install regular Bosch
Super Plugs. The wires are supposed to have 1000 ohm... up to 1300 is
okay... but over that is bad...
If replacing the plugs and wires doesn't help, then check the distributor
cap and rotor... just make sure no crack and clean the brass contacts.
If still no good, I would try to pull any check engine code... you can pull
the code out by the diagnostic pins by the battery press the button for like
3 seconds while key in ignition is in on position... count the number of
blinks... some codes are double digits...

Wires tested out excellent. Installed new plugs(non platinum). Took
caps off and you could not even see the contacts. Cleaned them up good
with sand paper and electric parts cleaner and the car runs like a charm
except its reving at around 1200 rpms in park but that could be because
I havent put all the aircleaner covers back on. I will install
everything tomorrow and see how that is. Thanks a million for the
help!! :)Nel
