From the colonies to the colonies you mean?

That's easy, you buy it! Cheers

Unfortunately and although the website is in New Zealand, it appears (still
a bit muddled) that the prices are a mixture of NZ and/or US pricing at a
whim.

Too bad as I wanted to buy this but not at US$3K, there is a glut of NZ/AUS
cars here already for that price point.

the link to the currency converter.

Thanks for letting me know this.
I did suggest that he increase the price, and he would certainly get
NZ$6k [more than he quoted you] any day of the week from a NZ buyer.

That's not a problem, we are not talking about gold bullion here just tired
unrestored NZ rust buckets. Seller should get the most for his item nothing
new here. I bought two MK1 (a Moke and a Mini) here in the US just this
month so my money is good.

No offence intended but the less cars we sell off shore the better, why
should we allow our motoring heritage to be raped like this. If your off
shore and you want to buy then be prepared to pay, I have 6 Minis and I
would never sell any of them off shore..nor would I sell one to someone whos
intended reason for purchase is to then sell it off shore...my choice

Mate, it's the internet, no need to get offended. Now if you bump into me
and make me spill my beer and don't offer apologies, then.....

> but the less cars we sell off shore the better, why should we allow our

We are all joined together. It's this we versus them that placed the world
in this predicament. But it's your right though to refuse service to anyone.
As an American I get and respect that concept.

>If your off  shore and you want to buy then be prepared to pay

No kidding. I thought this were free - lol.

> I have 6 Minis

Good for you. I've had two in the past (80ish sedan and 72 sedan) and two
now (61 sedan and 67 Moke) and looking to add a van, traveller and pickup to
my stable.

>:and I  would never sell any of them off shore

>..nor would I sell one to someone whos

Trust me mate, your fellow countrymen are doing it all day

> intended reason for purchase is to then sell it off shore...my choice

You made a lot of assumpiosn but this one is a good one. Why do you think I
am reselling them? As far as being your choice that is totally cool, just
don't jerk me around switching prices in the middle of negotiations just
becasue I am an American that can pay silly money.

I think you better read my posting..Im not offened, but clearly you are?

Im just stating my own point of view, and last time I'd looked no one had
invaded my right to do so?

You will find that both reading and comprehension can go hand in
hand...sometimes, so take a slow breath, and re-read my original posting,
and if at any point you fail to undertsand anything I have written, then go
back to the begining and read it again..if that fails ask a grown up to help
you.

Actually I am not offended but I am okay with it if it makes you feel good
thinking (or perhaps hoping) that I do. I don't care half enough about you
or your pseudo educative bent. Your anti-international closed minded view
has assured me that I am dealing with a King of Idiots. I am not in
negotiations with you so your ramblings thoughts are nothing more than
postulates. Did you comprehend this or do I need to type slower? - lol.

Free speech!  You should be able to speak your mind and if it doesn't ring
of hatred or intolerance why should anyone complain?

As I said, read what I said....you seem to have developed a bit of a
comprehesion problem. At no point did I attack you, or indeed anyone, you
choose to take it persoanly when at no point did I make a personal comment.

SO READ IT AGAIN PROPERLY

Tim you're a twit and an illiterate.

Go back and read what you wrote in the very beginning of the thread. I am
not in negotiations with you and frankly not interested in your closed
minded nitwit ideologies.

There is a price for free speech as I will educate you.

I eagerly await your next hypochondriac retort.

Wow!  Very clever.  I guess that is because you are funny with the added
bonus of a sense of humor.

If as you say the "owner would get $6K any day of the week" then why on
earth sell it for half that at $3000???
that sounds just like a beat up to me..  as soon as you guys see someone
from George W.U.S.A interested you double the price!!!

Do you think people are stupid, my advice "Pull ya heads in!!!"

Don't tar all kiwis with this greedy brush that is so commonly used in
regards to 2nd hand cars.

iBuyminis.Us  chin up mate (they are scamming like Nigerians here :-))

Joke of course QS

Wrong. I emailed him as soon as the photo arrived to say he should ask
more - and he chose not to lift the price on the site. This is all a
surprise.

Hi John, done - http://classiccarfair.com/minivan.htm

You know how rare they are. I'm prepared to bet that if it is pretty
original, it would get twice as much reg/wof/groomed. Nice but more
common saloons get much more these days.

Cheers, Neil
