Hi all.

I'm new to newsgroups (and Mini's), so please bear with me!

I have an Austin Mini city E '85/'86.
Can anyone tell me if it's a mk3?
Thanks,
Jono Barspeed - 01 Jun 2004 07:25 GMT
85/86 should or will have 12inch wheels with disc brakes, this would make it
a mk4.

Some say that it is actually MK5 with disc brakes and 12 inch wheels.  MK4
came around 1976 with rubber mounted subframes.

You could say that about all of the changes that were made with the mk3
though maybe, ive had loads of mk3's and they are all differant, like early
ones with mk2 floors and extra drip rails off the guttering, then the change
of rear light lens etc etc etc
