Hi,

I am looking for nice wheelarches for a 13" conversion (4-spoke
Revolutions)

I don´t want to use the original sportspack arches because they are big,
extremely wide, fat and disgusting and so on.

Some months ago, there were a lot of arches available at the different
suppliers, like the euroarches from minispares and similar.

But now, as I need the, they all seem to have vanished completely.

I ordered the "superior" arches from Minisport but they are of very low
build quality and basically not suitable for 13" tyres, because the open
radius of the arches is much to small.

So does anybody know of good quality, and with modest amount of work
mountable, arches which are not as wide as the sportspack ones?

Help would really be appreciated.

A few years back I had a slammed blaze red (orange) 1275GT which was
used for hillclimbing.  It was on 13" 4-spoke revolutions with black Wood &
Pickett arches.  IMO they are much better shaped than the sportspack arches.

Hm, I basically know such combinations, but I heard of an awful lot of
work because the w&p can nowhere be screwed onto the wing because this
part of the wing has to be cut away for the 13" tyres?

The small w6P would of course be my choice.

Fitting was very easy. around four or five L-shaped aluminium brackets with
a hole in each side for a rivet. No filler to 'mould' it in, just a rubber
strip, ala rover std arch.  My friend cut his arches out and fitted 13"
sportpack wheels and colour-coded w&p arches to his mini flame.  Got a great
pic of that going round mallory. You are right in saying that part of the
wing does have to be cut out for 13" wheel fitment though.  Not that hard to
do.  My rear arches also had the inside lip cut out, meaning that the car
sat 1-1.5" lower than a 'lowered' mini.

Hm, this would be exactly what I want. I just knew of W&P fitments on
standard sportspack minis which have enormous cut outs for the tyres and
so you have to laminate a "helper" on the wing to fit the W&P´s.

But in this case...

I´ll order :-)

Thanks a lot, you saved my Mini in the last few seconds before he
eventually got sportspack arches! :-)
