Removing Servo

Hi,

I'm currently building an ABS Freesytle kit car, the Donor car of
which is one of my rusty Minis.

It needs the brake master cylinder and the plunger bit that attaches
to the brake pedal but there isn't room for the servo. Can anyone tell
me if I can just remove the servo and be left with the non-servo bits,
or are the two systems totally different? Basically, I need to know,
if I remove the servo, will I be left with the same bits as I would
have if I had a non servo car?

Cheers,
Dave

If you can't do that (I don't know, never had a mini with a servo) I have a
second hand master cylinder you can have for a 5er plus postage if you want.

The servo has a connecting rod, that attaches to the pedal,
and the master cylinder has a concave push rod,

If you want to use the master cylinder without the servo, then you will need
to remove the concave pushrod and fit the longer pedal connecting type rod,

Probably easier to buy the cylinder of "The Muffin Man"

Hey Muffy,
you wouldn't have a set of carbs for a
1982 Yamaha XJ750 lying around would you,

Thanks! That sounds like a bargain. I'll see if I can use what I have
and if not I will take you up on that.

Cheers for the offer,
Dave
