Hi Chaps,

Hope you don't mind me asking, but can anybody here point me in the
direction of a complete list of the Mini range from 1959 to present day?

I'm working on a website where users have the option of selecting their
Mini from a drop-down box.

Thanks for your help!

I may be able to help here.. I have a copy of the Rover 'End of Mini'
press pack as a PDF, it lists all 137 real Mini Derivatives (not the BMW
abominiation though)

Email off NG and I will send a copy.

That would be perfect. Reckon I might have to split all the options into
several drop-down boxes though, didn't know there were that many!

Fully understood. I'm working on this site for an American chap though,
so we have to cater for the fake Mini.

Did you know they're selling them with US flags on the roof now?
Sacrilege.

On it's way.

And even then I'm pretty sure that it isn't complete. Rover ignored most of
the overseas models such as the Innocenti or Authi models, the Belgian 1100
Specials, or the South-African and Australian ones.

I have never actually seen a complete list. Maybe you would want to skip the
special editions, which are nothing more than badge engineering, and stick
to what really makes the difference: body shape, engine size, etc...

I've got about 140 in the database so far. I haven't included the BMWs
yet but I will.

I actually listed all the special editions simply because they might be
of interest to somebody out there. When I've finished the PHP end of
things visitors to the site will be able to list all the various models,
including just special editions, at the click of a button.

I've got the main structure set up now so I can just add more as I come
across them. Like you say though, I'll probably never get a full list :)

TBA. You wouldn't like it, the design is focussed on the BMW kind ;)

The script is fairly simple. A PHP front on a MySQL database that just
pulls any records matching your query (model, year, etc) and prints them
out in a table.

Brilliant. I've got most of them, but some new ones there.

Thanks!

In April 2000 Mini World published  as complete a breakdown as they
could put together of all the technical changes and model
introductions from 1959. The did say that some details might have been
omitted post 1994 as information covering these years seemed to have
been inaccurately recorded. I'm not parting with my copy, but you
could try the back numbers dept.

Hi,
I might be able to provide you with pics of most of the mini range. I have a
LARGE collection of models minis, and I could send you pics of them.

Thanks for the offer Keith, but I couldn't put you to that much trouble!

Drew sent me an excellent pdf file and I've since entered all the info I
need to a spreadsheet and database, which should make the job fairly
easy from here on.

Mid 1961 to November 1962
- Standard
- De-Luxe
- Super

November 1962 to end of MK1 production (1967):
