Has anyone ever used the Mini Stables dealer off Junction 19 of the M5
near Bristol ? I am looking for my 2nd old-style Mini (first ownership
was cut short by two decisions to buy a Peugeot 106 and a VW Polo
respectively) and would welcome any recommendations on where to buy a
Mini from in the Bristol area. Also, what is the advantage of a Cooper
over a non-Cooper Mini (allowing for obvious answers) ? All assistance
welcome..............

If you are looking at one of the later injection model coopers (from the
1990s) I don't *think* there is any difference in the mechanicals of the
cars, the Coopers just have the white roof and nice alloys and so on.

The older model coopers generally are sportier versions of the non-cooper
versions, they go quicker and stop quicker.

A real Cooper will hold its value better than a non Cooper.
