I have 2 problems that someone might be able to help me with. the first is
that I just finished changing my front drums to discs and 10"wheels to 12".
now I noticed that the rear driver side wheel is slightly crooked/leaning.
the top part of the wheel is leaning outward from the car. is there an easy
fix for this or do I have to take it to a garage.
the second is that my wheels are making a really high pitched metallic noise
that I believe is coming from the front driver side wheel or at least
somewhere in the front at any speed. any help would be appreciated. thanks.
by the way, the calipers are the normal '84 on type and I have a 1978 850cc
mini saloon if that's any help

Broken trailing arm pin or bent trailing arm are the usual culprits.
Not a particularly easy job.

Whatever it is, get it fixed immediately, do not continue to drive like
this.

Things to check:
Are the pads OK, i.e., not worn enough for metal-to-metal with the disc?
Hold down pin or spring escaping and rubbing on wheel or disc?
Do you have a bent or broken disc dust cover that is either rubbing on the
wheel or just vibrating?
I had funny drinngggg noises when the bracket between the dust cover and the
steering arm was broken.
CV joint clip or wire rubbing inside the hub?
Any shiny scratches inside the wheel rim or on the caliper?
If none of this helps, get somebody to walk beside the car while you drive
it slowly across a car park, or you walk while somebody else drives.

Took me a week to work that out last year as it looked fine. Tiny little
crack had broken it off and it was sat on the disc.
