A three point seat belt in std mini's have the upper mount on the B post,
the lower mount below the B post and the inner mount to the tunnel. For a
convertible Mini, depending on if you have a roll bar, you could fit the
upper mount to this, or alternativly fit it just to were the B post has been
cut off, this though may mean that the belt would not wrest across the
shoulder as it should. I personally would fit a racing harness, which would
be mounted to the floors.

yes if you fit a roll cage or roll bar..coz then you have somewhere to bolt
the other part. but a roll cage will affect your insurance

Sorry to respond out of sequence but I lost the original message...
All of the Rover Mini Cabriolets had three-point seatbelts. I haven't
been able to find a good picture yet but there must be one somewhere.
Since the Rover's had this style of seatbelt the Lamm conversions also
probably had the same system.

No, not in Holland where Aritha lives, I think. Our insurances don't seem to
care about race parts in your street car.
