Steering wheel horn push

This is probably a daft question but.... I'm building a Blitz kit car
(utilising the Mini as a donor) and I would like to have a central
horn push. The mini was a Mk3 so the horn was operated via a stalk.
My question is : Presumably I would need apart from (obviously) a
steering wheel with the centrally mounted button, some type of fixed
wiper plate/adaptor to attach to non moving part of the steering
column.
As I said probably a daft question.
I'd still appreciate an answer though. : )

MK1 cars had the centrally mounted hornpush.  I guess you could always
use the steering column from the MK1, but then you would lose the
windscreen wiper stalk (MK1's only had the indicator on the stalk).

I think (notice the word think) that you could use a mk1 column with later
stalks and cowls with a little ingenuity.  I have been thinking a lot about
my options for the new pickup and have bought mk1,2,3,4 columns trying to
figure out my best options.  I have decided to use the mk1 but I had all of
them out of the shed this morning and I remember thinking that the
differences between the outer tubes were not that much.
