Can anyone advise where to get competitive insurance cover for an 18 year
old girl driving a restored 1972 mini 1000 (unmodified  apart from  upgraded
interior and alloy rims)

You'd probably want to be a bit more specific on the a couple of
details, such as the continent you live on and stuff like that.

Sorry! Location is England. Which companies/ brokers provide classic car
insurance for minis?

We found the CIS cheapest by far for our open classic with my 17 years old
son driving.

if you look in one of the MiniWorld mag's I'm sure you will find a company,
Barry Grainger, is one company we are with
1x Peugeot estate, 2x Minis , and a 750cc Yamaha bike ,,,
all insured for ?830-00 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
mind you,,,,,,,,,,, I am over 40,,,,,,,,,, and have a full no claims bonus,
