Hi

I've got a fuel injected Mini, a Spi Sidewalk model from 1995 / 96.

Is it possible to add a Stage 1 kit to a fuel injected Mini? Does such a thing exist?

I like the performance of the car as it is but a little bit extra would be nice :0) Any tips on how to do this as well as rough
prices and the difficulty involved will be greatly appreciated.

If it is of any help the car has just had a service where the oil was changed, a new oil filter was fitted as well as new spark
plugs and the engine was supposedly cleaned out with "Forte fuel cleaner". I have also replaced the air filter with a "JR" model
bought from DSN Classics and this was cleaned as part of the service.

Cheers,

Kamaya

Hi

There isn't great deal you can do, but many people fit a different exhaust
system to the back of the cat. You could also fit a suitable LCB. Maniflow
offer one aimed at the injection cars (has the sensor point fitted). Much
beyond that and you start getting outside the capabilities of the ECU.
