I have a '72 Mini Clubman with a bad transmission. Does anybody have a
working trans that will fit my car? I am located in Michigan but can travel
and/or ship one if necessary.
Thanks.

Keith.

Try www.minimania.com they usually have rod change powerunits for $550. This
way you can pluck out the trans from under it and rebuild the engine later.

Good luck in your search.

Also try www.madhouseminis.com and ask for Cosimo, super nice Guy and he is
an enthusiast.

I know exchange rate is a big factor but you may want to consider doing the
whole lot rather than replacing a knackered gearbox.  To get a full lump may
be better in the long run as you know the box is good and the engine on top
of it ain't shag%ed!
