Hi,  Can somone please post the spanner sizes required to alter the brake
adjuster and remove the brake pipe unions on a 1990 Mini?

The brake adjuster should be a square, so ideally should be turned using a
special spanner which can be bought quite cheaply for this, otherwise you
may round off the square and have problems later.

Brake line unions - I've renewed mine so they are 11mm spanner. Not sure
whether 1990 Minis were metric or AF. By my maths, 11mm is approx. equal to
7/16" AF.

Hope this helps.
