My niece wants to sell here 98' Mini Paul Smith LE as she's planning a trip
to Australia and needs the cash.  It's in good nick for it's age but just
how much is it worth.  I tried looking in the parker car price guides and
couldn't find Rover Mini's listed anywhere.

It's obviously a Twin-Point Mini and has a long MOT so any advice on how
where to advertise it effectively would be welcome.

Cheers,

Taffy

According to Parkers on-line price guide it's only worth around ?2100.00
Some mistake surely?

Tell your niece to bring it with her. The more Minis in Oz the better!!

Buying a copy of Minimag and comparing similar spec and reg examples should
give you an idea of what price to put on it. Don't go anywhere near
Parkers/Whatcar/Glass' valuations as they don't take the car's used demand
into account.

We sold a mini 18 months ago on www.minisforsale.co.uk for about 75%
above what they 'book' at in the price guides. Your aiming at a more
specific market than general used car sales. So find yourself some
comaprables and price yourself from there.

Hope she enjoys the trip, I'd prefer to hold onto the car tho ;)
