Hi Folks,
1995 Mini Sidewalk

I think its about time to change the Rover fitted alarm for something a bit
higher spec,
My question is ,,, can I just disconnect the rover box or do I need to do
something with the immobiliser,
Has anyone done this before,

Thanks
Fitzy

Why do you want to change that? If the old one works fine, there will be
no necessity :)

That rover box near the motor communicates with the immobilizer behind
the dashboard. If you remove the immobilizer, you wouldn't be able to
start the engine again. The Rover box has to be programmed again, unfortunately.
