quick question.  a bunch of you probably know, but I don't.  I bought a
thermostat housing gasket and it came with 8 o-rings/packings.  where do I
put the o-rings?  I thought they might go on the housing bolts, but there's
only 3 bolts and 8 o-rings.  I don't know.  any help is appreciated.
thanks.

Never heard of this on a Mini - maybe its a free gift!
Just swop them with a friend for a bit of Hermatite to ensure the Gasket
seals.

What mini do you have ????
Where did you buy the gasket set from ????
you have probably been given the "O" ring seal kit for the German impostor,
the real mini has a 3 bolt fitting Gasket

They sound like the valve stem seals which come n a complete top end
gasket set. Maybe someone has sold the head gasket and manifold gaskets
seperately and you got everything else?
