Here in Canary Islands (Spain, left hand wheel), we have plenty of sun, so
... the dashboard of my 1.971 clubman has aged and cracked. It has been
recently repainted and restored, but it is impossible to find repalcement
for the upholster of the dashboard.
Any Ideas about finding replacement or repairing it?
Thanks in advance and ... please, excuse my english.

I am not sure what you need but you may have to improvise, mine is just made
out of bits n pieces & the top of the dash painted black, over the steel, if
you need vinyl you could glue it over the existing bit,

If it is just to cover the metal top rail, you can order the vinyl from
newton commercial for around ?10. Don't but the pre cut kit as it is more
expensive. Glue it in place and away you go!!

I assume he means the padded top of the dash that has cracked.
Not sure how to repair it or even if you can.

Recovered my dashtop with vinyl looks as good as new. It had had some sort
of toy glued on in the past and remnants of the cement couldn't be removed,
it had to be sanded smooth.
I bought some vinyl and fabric adhesive from a local furnishing? store
(Dunelm) the vinyl is quite stretchy.
There were some u-clips on the back edges that I reused.

hi
You could invite an english mini fan to the Canary Islands and as payment
for staying with you ask him to bring you some mini parts :-)
