Am I the only one who gets angry when someone makes fun of my mini? Yesterday I was at a wedding and when I left a bunch of guys gathered round by beautiful baby and started saying phrases like "is it on sale? I offer 30 quid!". That really pissed me off! Any suggestions on what to answer if something like that happens again? They are the inadequates with the personality disorders. Also, if they are too ignorant to appreciate a Mini, then they are the ones missing out on all the fun. The last thing you should do is to play their game for them by answering them back. Just grin, laugh politely and drive away shaking your head sadly. You should have taken it. <g> lol depends on the spec of ur mini, but personally i would have said... " see you at the lights" and pissed all over what 3rd rate bucket of crap he was driving and let his mates laugh at him!!!! I'd then ask who would make it over Norland Moor first - a feat I usually accomplish well within the speed limit but 2ce as fast as anyone else.
