How much grease does the  Radius Arm take? I'm pumping and pumping and the
grease is disappearing from my grease gun. it says stop when you see grease
coming from the back bush......but nothings coming out!  Is the radius arm
hollow or something.

Any thoughts?

It does not take a lot, the radius arm is hollow, there should be a nylon
sleve inside which stops the grease going into the hollow, this is probably
damaged & the grease is going into the hollow, just keep pumping it in
untill you see it  come out the back side, it will probably take about 500ml
of grease to fill the arm if the sleve is damaged but it will come out
eventualy.

there is a plastic or metal sleve inside, depending on year, & a rubber
seal, quite common for the grease to get past them, I had a brand new mini
in 1993, it had same prob, I greased it as soon as I got it & one arm took
about 500ml, other was ok,

Well the radius arms on my niece's 98' Paul Smith LE were full of water, it
took a good 500ml each side to pump out the water and fill with grease.
Seems like there was no grease from new?

The good news is once it's filled with grease, when you come to regrease in
around 3,000 miles or so, it doesn't need so much.

All the best,

Taffy
