Anyone else coming to the scottish mini weekend on sat/sunday???

If so, don't forget to say hello.. i'll be on the Minifinity stand.

Did anyone go to this? How was it? Haven't been for a couple of years,
although judging by the convoy I saw coming away from it, perhaps it
should have been called the 'German MINI Weekend'....

Well gordon, there were a good deal of classic's there (thankfully), but
things got a tad out of hand.

Due to sloppy organisation, and SHOCKING security, the CMC let some very
silly young guy's into the campsite at 12 midnite on saturday.

They proceeded to drink/party VERY loudly till about 5:30 in the morning,
then got a couple of hours sleep. They then decided to start drinking again
at about 10:30 and start driving thier cars round the campsite. (which CMC
did nothing about)

It actually took one of the "show go'ers" to phone the police and get the
situation under control as the security for CMC said "there was nothing they
could do"!!!!!

Apart from the iffy shenanigan's it wasn't too bad a weekend, if a little
quiet.
