Car Forum / MINI / October 20057 * 13 Alloy on 4.5*12 mini?
Hi, I found some nice alloy for sale. i want put them on my 4.50*12 69t(orginal steel wheel) mini. But the new one is 7*13. I am not sure them will spot on... Does anyone have any idea? Approved simple upgrade for this spec would be to go to a 5 x 12 with the lower profile tyre. Conversion kits available from all the main Mini specialists at very reasonable prices. Going to 7 x 13 will require major body surgery if you want to be able to steer. Can be easily done. What wheels are the Starmags? Those whopping great wheels might improve grip, but there is no way than can improve the car's handling.
