I have tried all the wheel size & variants of mini wheel sizes, I fount my
self the 13" wheeled genuine sports pack I owned to have heavier steering, a
bigger turning circle, less responsive on twisty roads, I recon the best
compromise would probably be a 165/60/12 on either a 4.5J or 5J rim,

Thank you Steve. Those whopping great wheels might improve grip, but
there is no way than can improve the car's handling.
