Hi all, me again, couple of questions for you.

I am building a high powered 1380 which is basically full race spec, which
pushrods would be most suitable for my engine? do i use standard rods? or
carbon ones?
The valve train is lightened, lightened followers, alloy spring caps and 1.5
roller rockers.

Also, see previous post about stage 1 tuning, according to WINSU i could get
better performance with an HS6 or HIF44 carb on the 1000cc stage 1 engine,
has anyone tried this? if so have you any comments? WINSU reckons an HS6
carb and BDP needle.

Cheers all
Andy

'Full Race Spec' - What spec would that be as that could, would and should
dictate what pushrods can be used...

Either standard, or carbon fibre would work. - Dont forget that with the
standard ones you must re-harden the ends of the rod after any grinding
operation that has been done on them during the correction of the rocker
geometry.

I'd be a bit more worried about the alloy valve caps pulling through - What
spring poundage are you running? Cam etc?

If a stage one kit only - with a K&N/Pipercross cone filter, then a Hif 38,
AAA needle Red spring would get you going until you get to a rolling road...
