Metro Door Bins

I`ve got myself some metro door bins with speakers to fit in my mini. whats
the best way of passing the wires into to door?

I did this with my '92 Cooper.  I just bodged it and passed the wires
through where the check bar for the door hinge lives.  I reckon the best
thing to do would be to actually drill a small hole (maybe 0.5") and get a
gromet for it.
