Hi all,
I am considering parting with a Metro Turbo engine that i have in my garage.
The engine is in a stripped state and the gearbox has been fully rebuilt.
I ran out of time to complete it for the project that i was working on.
The engine is complete, all parts are there and the block has been cleaned
and honed, new cam bearing and main bearings. The crank has been refitted.
I have 2 turbo units for it, one is stuffed but the other works fine, i have
2 plenum chambers, carbs etc etc.
Sensible offers may be considered.
I am based in Southampton.
Cheers
Andy

I only wish you were in the US.
Good luck on the sale.

i know that your note has been around a while but a good metro turbo motor
will fetch between £300 to £500 maybe more

It would have to be very very good to get that sort of money as you can
buy a whole car with all the ancillaries for less than that, but I am
sure someone would pay it!
Stick it on ebay and take a chance, but don't forget to let us know
when you put it on!
It may even be worth splitting it as certain parts are very rare
(sodium filled valves!)
I might put a set on ebay if anyone is after a set! theres too much
rubbish in my garage!
