Hi all!

Does anyone know the answer to this hypothetical problem because I am
getting fed up trying to work it out!

I have a very very simple filing system,

It consists of two boxes:
one labelled alt.autos.mini
one labelled alt.autos.new-mini

Now, if I had a message about my mini, where would I put it?

I don't think it would go in the new-mini box, as I don't own a new-mini.

What about if I owned a new-mini and wanted to know something about that?

I don't think I could put my message in the alt.autos.mini box because
there is one
which is labelled alt.autos.new-mini.

Pretty simple so far :-)

OK, now when I want to find my reply about my mini.  Why is it that
whenever I look in
the alt.autos.mini box, it is full up with messages that must have been
delivered in error
as they are about a new-mini or arguing whether they have put the
message in the right box?

I don't go to the post office and put mail that is destined inland into
the overseas box because it just doesn't work like that.

It is such a simple thing, what am I missing?

It is like walking into a Butchers shop to find that although they sell
meat, you have to search through all the veg before you can get to it!

And before anyone starts.....

I have nothing against the new-mini, it's just being greedy trying to
take up two newsgroups!
(It is wide but then that is no excuse!)     ;-)

I don't reply to abuse so please don't bother, it is getting a bit
tiring on this NG

What you're missing is that some people believe that inland mail and
overseas mail should go in the same box together because at the end of the
day it's all mail. Some of these people also think that inland mail never
existed and so all talk should be overseas mail.

fishead, not Fish Head. Simple enough to see the difference, I'm sure.

Not that it matters to me anyway, Mark.

Ahh... but you see.... if you look at the two different types of mail they
are badged differently.....

Have you ever seen "par avion" on inland mail?? I think not......

(or in other words, this is a classic group and should stay that way..
bini's have thier own group... please stick to it)

Thank God! Because you just ask for abuse. It will be such a pleasure
having you not respond for once. I have a Mini Cooper, is it old or is
it new, I don't give a sh.t.

Look we're only interested in the Issigonis Mini on this newsgroup, why
can't people get that into their heads?

Tatiele - 13 Dec 2005 15:12 GMT
Because the title does not clearly state that.

The charter does and that is why I suggested that it be posted weekly. That
and being cordial to fellow motorist and hobbyist by pointing them to the
correct group as opposed to the primate grunt and gestures currently being
offered by certain knuckleheads on here.

Brilliant comeback taffy. What a beautiful and graceful vocabulary you
have. It is such an honor to be in your presence and to learn from your
vast knowledge. You really are "trailer trash" !

Well if you don't like it you know what you can do, what's wrong with you
people do you have a limited memory span or are you generally mentally
challenged, anyway I've never lived in a trailer in my life, been on holiday
in a few though.

Me, mentally challenged. No, you were the one telling someone to have
sex with them self. Sounds like you have the issues here. And what
exactly is it that I can do, if I don't like it. You weren't very clear
on that.
So you don't live in a trailer, you just act like white trash.

Well if you had any dignity at all you'd clear off and stop posting here,
you now your not welcome and never will be, but queer people like you just
don't get it do you!  I imagine your an inmate in a lunatic asylum, I expect
they let you loose on the net for good behaviour?

Hey Tatiele,
Isn't it amazing how easily these guys get riled up? They get totally
irate and barbaric if you don't believe in their one sided way of
thinking. I would have left this boring newsgroup a long time ago, if it
wasn't for the comical response from these lonely, lonely boys. Such a shame.
Tatiele - 16 Dec 2005 04:02 GMT
Like you Man, I only post because of the two imbeciles. If only they gave up
I will move on.

Let's see...no punctuation, statement rendered meaningless by apparent
omission of the word 'other', over use of 'You Sir' in futile attemps to
appear witty and/or intelligent. Yep, as I suspected, a classic case of
'Pots and Kettles'.

Yes you're the fool Gordon.

I make many on topic post but like the rabid Dog that you are, you only
focus on this current banter that we are having.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to audit my posts though.

So in the past 24 hours, you've called people here imbecile, illiterate,
stupid
fool, rabid Dog (what's with random upper-case? Are you unable to type even
bad English?), and pu**y - so basically, in the absence of anything
resembling
a good point or a reasonable, well-thought argument, you have no choice but
to resort to name calling. Speaks volumes that does.

Like I said, whatever. Trolls like you come and go, but people with  a
genuine
interest in the genuine mini stay for a lot longer. I know you'll get bored
and
look for your sad kicks elsewhere, or somone'll complain to your ISP, but
until then, our killfiles will bring us all peace.

Well quite frankly your both suffering from some kind of delusional problem,
a bit like the guy who shot John Lennon?  You obviously don't like verbal
abuse, but you abuse this newsgroup and think it's fine?  Well I pity you, I
expect life's tough when your not wanted?  And it's such a pity the BINI
isn't welcome here either, I imagine it really gets under your skin that
we're using the Mini name and keeping it pure Issigonis related, what are
you going to do next, get the mighty BMW to take legal action?

Taffy
Tatiele - 16 Dec 2005 03:58 GMT
Now we shot John Lennon too? Man, go see a Dr and get some sort of treatment
