The only problem is, none of them sound right. Some even have it playing on their air horns, as you would know if you had ever been to a Mini event. So yes, the original poster was clearly on topic for this newsgroup - a Mini enthusiast talking about Miini-related matters. What could be simpler. Of course an imposter wouldn't recognise any of that. What a giveaway <g>. One does not 'join' a newsgroup. One simply participates. I hardly expect to see large numbers of owners of the BMW thing bothering to do so. After all, very few of them know anything about Minis or have anything to contribute. I seem to remember BMW UK having to write them a letter to try an get them to show some sort of sense of community by flashing each other. Didn't happen. It's a fashion accessory, not a lifestyle choice..
