Does anyone have a link to more information about 7" disc assemblies or
know anything about them?

All I pretty much know is the 7.5" assemblies are far superior!

And Celeborn was sitting next to Elvis in the spaceship, which I thought
was kinda strange, but then they turned to me and said:

Yes - they take even longer to stop than drums...
Exaggerating a bit, but they didn't have much 'bite', and suffered
terribly from heat build up and brake fade.

7inch units were fitted to the 997 and 998 Cooper models only. Basicaly a
novelty item and you'd stop better by sticking you feet through the floor
Ala Fred Flintstone than fitting them to your car...unless of course your
restoring a 997 or 998 Cooper, then stay original.

That's what I thought - know anyone/anywhere who wants to buy a fully
reconditioned genuine pair? ;P

Unsafe, in modern traffic takes weeks to stop, 7.5 in discs are much better
and safer

you mean 7.5?
