If I grab the dizzy when the engine is running will I get electricuted? :)
Please, no kidding, I had a bad experience with a spark plug wire once... :(

have a look before you start the engine, for any un insulated lead ends even
for cracks in the dizzy (cracks probably wont be enough to give you a shock
though better safe than sorry) make sure all the rubber insulating ends are
properly in position and in good nick and you should be fine.

cheers steve

Probably not but why take the risk?  I always put a pair of gloves on when
doing it and have never had a problem.

Electrocuted (death by shock) - probably not (standard disclaimers
apply).

Zapped (OUCH!) - definitely maybe, depending on the state of your cap
and leads. 9 times out of 10, no. I tend to approach them rather
carefully with the back of a knuckle to minimise the, umm, discomfort,
if I've met a bad one.

Looking on the bright side, if you do get zapped, it's a fair indication
that you need a new cap and leads.

I'm really scared! I think I'll wear two pairs of gloves over latex gloves.
When I got shocked I was on a 100cc racing go-kart. The throttle got stuck
wide open and the first thing that came to my mind was "pull the lead off
the spark plug!!!". I was wearing gloves and the lead was new. The current
must have been tremendous! The shock I got was really painful and made me
lead-o-phobic... :)))
