The wipers we're really slow, so have replaced the wheel boxes (one was
ceased up) that the wiper arms attach to and also the rack.

The wiper motor was also dismantled, regreased and put bck to gether.

However the wipers now wipe clockwise first then anti clockwise.

What have I done? Have I put something in backwards? or is it that darn't
parking switch.

Well the park switch generally only rests the wipers when you select
stop on the column switch.  Have you put the wires on the multi-plug
back in their correct order?  Here's a snap posted on a different
message regarding where the wires go:-

You've either put the wheelboxes on upside-down so the cable goes past
the wheels on the wrong side, or you've put the gearbox back together
wrong so it operates the park switch in the wrong place (I think this
is only possible with very early motors though).

My money's on the wheelboxes.

Cheers,

Colin.
