Uncle Zed - 09 Feb 2007 17:01 GMT Oh yawn. Today, somewhere in he world, a good father, mother, child, friend, boss, preacher, teacher, or neighbor died prematurely and anonymously. They likely lived their lives honorably with kindness, generosity, compassion, and care for the people they loved.
But somehow the passing of a child ignoring, gold digging, alcohol/drug abusing stripper should give us pause. Why? Because she had the most important quality valued in our revolting popular culture: she was famous. And just *why* was she famous? Because her personal degenerate behavior was just too much fun for the voyeurs among us to ignore. Is it sad she died prematurely? Only slightly. If all the facts are borne out as currently suggested, she merely reaped the results of her choices. You want to mourn someone, mourn the thousands of anonymous deaths today of the honorable, decent, productive, and useful member of society, not its dregs...

Yeah, but about these other unsung people who died with no fanfare, did millions of young men across the world have some of their first sexual experiences spraying their semen across the pages of their Playboy pictorials while fantasizing about giving them a "pearl necklace"? No.

"The nonsense screeds you compose and post to usenet lack any kind of coherent and rational meaning whatsoever, and are composed of random bits and pieces stolen from mythology, science fiction, religion, comic books, etc., placed into a blender, and the switch turned to the highest setting. About every other screed has droppings of death threats, racial bigotry, laughably false prophesies of gloom and doom, and inane attempts to extort money. "But now the end is near. Now Mark Foley comes along and is making almost all liberal dreams come true and seriously, I'm sorry for it. See, I believe in karma. I believe what comes around goes around and I know full well that it's just bad juju to wish such a level of turmoil and ill upon other humans, warmongering gay-hating maladroits or no, and that the real path of enlightenment is paved with forgiveness and progress and white-hot love and turning the other cheek and scotch.
"In fact, Jesus said something about that, I do believe. He said, "Knock it off already with the warmongering and the hating of each other and let's all get some wine and party like it's 2012." Then again, he never saw Karl Rove stab the nation with the dull ice pick of bogus fear. He never heard George W. Bush describe brutal war and the death of tens of thousands as "just a comma" in world history.

However, first the son dies, then she dies, and who's going to raise the little girl who might well inherit millions? The whole thing stinks of big money manipulations.
