Just thought i'd let the group know that Henry(cooper) is all painted now
hoorar.
My brother in law sprayed it but knackered up the rear quarter with a big
run so he's got to do that bit again,
Not long now before he's on the road again, just in time for the snow
Humph..
I cant wait to try out the 1400 with a 5 speed box :-)

Congrats! I am feeling a little bit that way too. After many months of
trying to find the time to finish the roof on my Elf, last weekend I did
the final flatting, buff and polish.

BTW, why can you not just take out the run with wet and dry? A bit of
800 grit to get the worst off then finish up with 1200 followed by some
cutting paste then wax. A lot easier than stripping off and starting
again on that section.

The engine sounds like fun, give us an update on how she goes...

Shouldn't be a problem. Sounds like it (sorry, *he*) is getting close now.

hiya
cheers drew , the run he made could have been flatted off but the silly
prat decided to use a razorblade to cut off some of the run and went down to
the primer, DOH!
heheh

cheers Steve i'll be over to see you soon for some bits. When I rang you the
other week about the paint code for Old english white for the roof we found
the code but no paint recipe for their system so I ended up with Federal
Express white :-) at least i can do some deliveries when its finnished hehe.
