At Mosport this weekend for vintage car races,  I picked up a couple of
copies of the 'Mini Gazette'.  This is the club newsletter of the 'Mini
Owners of Southern Ontario',  and particularly attractive since in it's
masthead it declares "This is a BMW-free Newsletter.

Inside,  among various bits of real Mini news etc. were a series of pics. of
various racing Minis being fired in anger at various Canadian tracks over
the years.  One which caught my eye shows a Mini executing a barrel roll
about 8' above the ground,  with another Mini showing what looks like a
Chevy Camaro the way 'round Mosport in 1966.  It is captioned ' Rocky
Frisco,  #15 Mosport 1966.

The orig. picture,  I believe,  came from Bill Bracks'  personal collection
of racing pictures.  So....Rocky is famous again in southern Ontario for
making music with a Mini.
