Car Forum / MINI / September 2003alternative seats?
Hey everyone, Just a quick question... Apart from the Metro's, what other seats have you lot had in your minis? My '86 Mayfair (Norris) has the rather uncomfy centre headrest posts, and I'm just thinking of alternatives, without going for trad "bucket" style race seats. Any ideas/comments? Early Renault 5 seats were quite narrow, I wonder if they might be worth a look? Ultimately, you will have to spend time wandering around a breakers yard with a tape measure! Check the mounting method of the seats. Most modern items are very specific to the car and would be difficult to adapt to a Mini.
