How do you tell what kind of steel wheels you have?  I have some 3.5inch
wheels that came off the pickup.  It had cooper s discs fitted and they
didn't stick out but is there any way of telling what they are before I
decide to give them to a mate who likes them and the ash trays?

Thanks

The Cooper S rims would have 9 circular holes around the centre. The
standard 3.5" rim is plain. If the wheel stayed under the arch, I suspect it
is the 'S' version and worth quite a lot of money to the right person.

The Cooper S was issued with the 3.5" rims as standard. However, the vast
majority left the factory with the optional 4.5" rims. It makes the smaller
ones quite rare now.

I will check to see if they have the holes - I can't remember off the top of
my head.

Thanks for the advice.  I knew that they came with 4.5 but wasn't sure if
they actually had 3.5 as standard or if I just had some standard wheels.

Cheers
