My good mini-friend Sam, who also posts here (hi, sam!) pointed out that I
needed to install a piece of rubber in my left-side engine mount (seen from
the front), as it is completely gone, and causes a loud knocking sound
I went to Halfords, and I only received blank stares. Mind you, he had
trouble finding me a distributor cap as well, so I reckon maybe he wasn't
too clever.
Anyway - what is the "Real" name of the bit I need, and where can I get one?
Oh, and what should I expect to pay?
Cheers, mes amis.

Get a Deflex set. The standard rubber goes off very quickly at the engine
end of the bar because of the high temp.

I wouldn't bother with these 2 part bits for your engine stabiliser.
I've had the worn old rubber and 2 diff sorts of 2 part polyurethane bushes
( one was Nolathane, the other wasn't branded ) in there & in the space of
2 years - the 2 part bushes lost there shape very quickly.
At present I'm using a 1 part polyurethane bush made by a company called
Superpro - ( www.superpro.com.au ) which have been excellent!
I paid NZ$13 for the two bushes and haven't had any trouble - I'm really
impressed!.
Since then I've also changed the lower arm bushes for Superpro ones and
also the bushes for the arm that attaches to the lower arm and the front of
the subframe.
Thoroughly recommend it for anyone with worn out rubber bushes :)
