A quick question to all you guys, I had a same bump with a taxi the other
night at a roundabout. I have scored this colour-coded rear bumper. The guy
has gone for 3 quotes and we are waiting on them coming in. I am not going
through my insurance, because I need my no clams too much. Any ideas or a
rough price I thought around ?200 to ?300 for it, does that sound about
right?

Depends if the bumper needs replacing or not. If it is just removal,
repainting and replacement the ?300 ought to be enough. However, if a new
bumper is needed, it could be rather more. Is it a black cab type taxi or a
saloon car? If it is a standard car, what is it? I can look at our panel
supplier for a bumper price.

Hi Rocky
depending on what make of car/taxi you hit, I would say  ?100-00 was about
right to repair and paint most coded bumpers, considering we are in the
north west,,, furthe south can be a bit more expensive,
My mate has just had a quote for a small dent and a deep scratch on a
Chrysler PT cruiser n/s/ rear door , done by some kid on a bike ,
Metalic blue , so the rear wing and n/s/ front door will need to be partly
painted and laquered to lose the colour , if you know what I meen,
total cost = ?100-00,   thats ?50-00 paint and materials and ?50-00 labour
