Hello all,

Can you help me identify the head on my 998 engine? I have taken off the
rocker cover and all I can find is the code ECAM 4004 (or EOAM) . This
code is cast on the clutch end of the engine. The only other code I
could see was 16M7 next to the thermostat housing, outside of the rocker
cover (where 12g202 is cast on my friends mini).

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
        Barney.

I would expect CAM4180. This is the common late model 998 head. Not sure
about the 4004 number though.
