Hi,
Got a 1990 H 1.0l auto mini which I'm trying to sell. In its average state,
I guess we're looking at around ?500 or less.
Thing is its had ?3500-?4000 spent on it in terms of renovation/ rebuilding
etc.
For instance, its been rebuild, resprayed (bodywork immaculate), rewired,
new carpets, new mats, vinyl seats, twin bore exhaust, alloy wheels, CD
player, sports steering wheel, foglamps etc.
Any idea how to value?

hi there,
just to give you an idea maybe i am wrong but have a look at mine

and the body is in very good condition as well as the engine side of it,
wheels...etc. not really worth much more than what ppl are prepared to pay
for it, although that really depends on how desperate you are to sell it and
for what reasons.

Nothing is worth more than somebody else is prepared to pay for it.
The only way to establish the value is to test the market. Most
restorations end up costing far more than the car is worth. Mini autos
are not terribly common, however - probably because they are so awful
<g> - so there is some rarity value and some people, inexplicably,
like them. I'd ask GBP1500 ono and be happy to get GBP1200, but it's
only a guess.
