It went like stink until it came to a bend - which meant that it went slower than most of us on the dales run ;) It is a crazy car and totally marvellous but as mad as a box of frogs. Personally I prefer Dave and his Monster Truck. He is a great guy and when I got stuck half way up hard knot pass (the lakes run) due to a fuel pump disaster - he came 60 miles out of his way with me to catch up. I asked my mechanic to replace it (as I was at work) on Monday and he said there was nothing wrong with it. Usually when he has had a few he starts showing them off at 0000hrs ;) It is one of the few cars that stops people asking about the pickup because it is so completely bonkers. He is currently doing another one with the clubman that went on the Lakes with us as the insurance company wrote it off for the sake of a front panel and left wing ??!!??!!??!!
