My car is running on 175/50/13s, but I want to use a standard 12 inch wheel as a spare. Will this be OK and if so what tyre profile would be the best to go for in terms of matching the 13s? There's good reason to enforce this too. Ensuring that the original tyre goes back on once repaired means that you will have consistent tyre wear on both sides of the car.
