I have a 77 Cananian mini 1000, stage 1 kit and is used as a daily driver.
I am wanting a set of tires and have noticed quite a few "off" brands like
Marshal
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=34209
&item=2447511325
they are listed as a summer tire and I am conserned about rainy conditions
that I usualy drive in. I have been looking at the Yoko A008 but they don't
look like they would be very safe in the rain and I am not sure if they will
fit on my 3.5" rims.
Any advice with tires or links would be apprecieated.
Please respond to group or if you want remove the spam part from address.

Thanks Ozzie

Have you tought about yoko A 032-R ? It's a tire with a V profile so good in
the rain ?

No I hadden't thought of that model but will diffenetly consider as it looks
like a better rain tread.
I am guessing there are no complications of going from 145 to 165 on 3.5
rims. Sooner or later I will make the move to 7.5 discs in front and end up
with a little wider rim. I am not wanting to put on the flares because it
think in stock form the looks of the car are perfect. As a side note it's
nice to hear that other parts of the world  have as much rain as the pacific
north west of USA.
