I think there is confusion here.  You think the shell is incorrect and
minirepository thought you mean the split link in my original post.

Shall we pick at the shell?  What is incorrect about it?

No channel for the battery cable

OK so its a MK1 Shell...and its a Cooper S one because??? Missing the whole
point here. The only real difference is the front braket for the slam panel
which is on a diagnal, and a few clips and brackets here and there...so its
worth 10 grand because...buggered if I know!

Coupled with the fact that M-Machine will restore you an original
shell to an 100% accurate concours specification for £6,000... it
seems a little expensive...
