Howdy all.

How easy is it to replace the interior trim in Mini? Some of mine got
damaged the other day, so I'm casting around for replacements (trawling
through ads in the Mini mags). Essentially I'm going to have to replace
the headlining and the trim around the rear seats - carpets are fine.

Its not hard to do

Remove all the glass from the apertures. Front rear and sides. and
interior light fitting.

remove lining, take out the bows

replace the bows in the new lining fit the lining bows in place. Using a
good contact adhesive paint on edges of lining and where it sticks to on
body. let dry

Stretch the lining into place front to back  side to side making sure
its even.

Replace the glass.

Simple really! :)

* Or take it to someone who knows what there doing or if you haven't got
the tools to remove and replace the glass.

Thanks. That sounds hopeful!

Replacing glass is a dark art performed only by those who have trained
diligently and devoted their lives to their master ;)

There shall be one who can change a windscreen and his number shall be...
