hi!
I am new to the mini scene, and today it looks as though the starter motor
has packed up. Can someone tell me where/what price for replacement? UK!!
cheers!

There are literally dozens of distributors and sales locations for mini
parts in the UK. Pick up a Mini mag (Mini Magazine or Mini World) or
look at www.minirepository.com - and click the UK cars & parts section
in the links section - there are more than 50 parts dealers in there.

A more direct tip: Try P&L (www.plmini.com).

... if you meant getting it replaced, any local garage should be able to
do it for you. Not sure about price though. You could always buy the
part yourself, and have the garage fit it, if you don't feel like doing
it yourself; That way, at least you don't have to pay the Garage's
overhead on the part, and you can make sure the component is of good quality
