Track Rod End

I have to change the track rod end on my 1994 Mini Cooper Monte Carlo.

I got a replacement from the local motor factor and it looks different
to the one on the car. I checked it with the motor factor who has
assured me that the design must have changed recently and that it is
the right part (and the only one listed). The component they have
supplied is made by Moog.

Does anyone know if this is correct?

TIA

Simon

from the Moss catalog:
GSJ734 TRACK ROD END ASSEMBLY

GHF223 NUT, nyloc, track rod end to steering arm, imperial;
Note: Due to Rover changing sources on the track rod ends, the pin
thread can vary. Please check before ordering, nuts with imperial
threads use a 9/16" AF spanner.

NY210041 NUT, nyloc, track rod end to steering arm, metric;
Note: Due to Rover changing sources on the track rod ends, the pin
thread can vary. Please check before ordering, nuts with imperial
threads use a 9/16" AF spanner.

lol.

The main forging can look different from different manufacturers. As long as
it is the same geometry as the old one it will be correct.
